Production of hollow bodies made from fiber-reinforced ceramic materials comprises forming cores with shape of hollow chambers of hollow bodies; forming green body from cores and pressable mass; reinforcing green body by heating under pressure; and carbonizing with exclusion of air and other oxidizing agents to form carbon reinforced body. <??>Production of hollow bodies made from fiber-reinforced ceramic materials comprises forming cores with a shape of the hollow chambers of the hollow bodies; forming a green body from the cores and a pressable mass; reinforcing green body by heating to 120-280 degrees C under pressure; and carbonizing by heating to 750-1100 degrees C with the exclusion of air and other oxidizing agents to form a carbon reinforced body. The cores are made from a material which does not melt above the hardening temperature during molding of the pressable mass and a pyrolysis residue.
