<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing foam of aeration tank in biological treatment plant is provided, which is characterized in that foam generated by aeration in an aeration tank is removed by only buoy moving up and down according to water level, instead of conventional foam removing apparatus using chemicals. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus is characterized by the following parts: magnetic bars installed at corner of an aeration tank(10); a buoy(23), equipped with the magnetic bars, shaped like cylinder; an outlet(40) for discharging collected foam; a pipe(11) for supplying oxygen into the aeration tank(10); and a nozzle(12) for spraying oxygen. When oxygen is supplied through the pipe(11), foam is generated at the upper part of the aeration tank(10). And ripple of circle type is generated, so foam is moved to corner of the aeration tank(10). Therefore foam is overflowed over the buoy(23), and discharged through the outlet(40).</p> |
