The motor vehicle bodywork is made of sections (2-7). The bodywork has connection areas (23-26,3747,57,62) defined by the bodywork sections and, in the area (A) outside these, are two aligned connected tubes. The tubes can have different diameters and or cross sections and or wall thicknesses. The tubes can also be made of different materials. The tubes can be surrounded by a peripheral outer casing.
