PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag which offers an increased display space without changing the outer dimension of the bag. SOLUTION: The packaging bag 10 is made by setting front and back body films, each having an innermost sealant layer 22, counter to each other with the sealant layers 22 located inside, and forming a top seal 13, side seals 14, and a bottom seal 15 on the periphery of the body films. The front body film 11 is folded along a lateral outward folding line a near the bottom seal 15, the outward folding line a being parallel with the bottom seal 15 along the entire width of the film 11, to form a folded bottom portion, which is then divided into a folded first bottom portion and a folded second bottom portion by forming an inward folding line b parallel with the outward folding line a on the part that almost divides the folded bottom portion into two. The folded second bottom portion at the head of the folded bottom portion of the folded front body film 11 is heat welded entirely to the back body film 12 counter to the front body film 11 to form the broad bottom seal 15.
