摘要 <p>A heated (3), part cone-shaped container (1) is supplied (2) with molten polymer and rotates at high speed, e.g. 25000 revolutions per minute. Polymer emerges from an exit (4) at the edge, e.g. a number of holes of 500 mu m diameter, and is then treated and guided without further contact, e.g. by a gas stream (5). The gas stream can be air or nitrogen supplied by a fan or pump. An electrical potential difference can be applied between the container (1) and the surface on which the fibers are deposited. An independent claim is included for a process in which fluid material is converted into fibers by centrifugal force and then guided and stretched without contact. The fibers are in the region of 50 nm to 200 mu m in diameter and deposited into a matrix. The material can be heated (3) up to 450 [deg]C by infra-red radiation, hot air or a hot plate integrated into the container (1).</p>
