<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having proper operability, when a unit is attached to or detached from it, while achieving miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device 1 is equipped with a developing unit 6, having an openable/closable front cover 20 and a handle 60. A housing part 21 is formed by cutting off a part of the front cover 20. The housing part 21 is formed, at a position where the handle 60 is housed in the housing part 21, in a state with the front cover 20 closed. That is, the housing part 21 is formed as an opening at the position, where the front cover 20 would otherwise interfere with the handle 60, when it is closed, avoiding interference between the front cover 20 and the handle 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
