<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument inventory control system and a measuring instrument inventory control method which effectively conduct inventory control over wattmeters or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The measuring instrument inventory control system is provided with; a measuring instrument information acquisition means which acquires, from bar codes, measuring instrument information including information for computing the remaining terms of validity of measuring instruments, divides the measuring instruments into measuring instruments whose remaining terms of validity are at least a prescribed period of time and measuring instruments whose remaining terms of validity are below a prescribed period of time based on the measuring instrument information thus acquired, and updates inventory information based on the acquired measuring instrument information; a shipment request information acquisition means which acquires shipment request information being input from outside and including information which indicates the kinds and quantities of measuring instruments to be shipped out of storage; and a measuring instrument shipment and reception quantity computation means which computes measuring instrument shipment and reception quantities, which are differences in quantity between the quantities of inventory of the measuring instruments and the quantities of measuring instruments to be shipped out of storage, separately both for measuring instruments used for new installment or increased installment, and for measuring instruments used for replacement of defective measuring instruments based on the inventory information and the shipment request information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
