PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film label whose decorative effect can be further enhanced, by drastically improving visibility of an image transmitted through a container containing liquid, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The film label 1 is put in contact with or wound around the outer peripheral surface of the transparent or translucent container, having a cylindrical body part containing the transparent or translucent liquid. A print image 2 is formed on the surface which comes into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the body part of the container; and when an image to be seen through the inner side of the container containing the liquid is a target image, the print image 2 is is formed that has width (b) reduced in the peripheral direction of the container at a specified ratio to the target image.
