<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Open IF controller operable by being connected with an arbitrary engine or an arbitrary option (a finisher, a sorter or the like), and to provide an image forming device controllable to a new paper discharge option, wherein program capacity can be reduced, without changing firmware of the controller. <P>SOLUTION: Each portion constituting this image forming device is made to have a procedure, a control method, and error handling information for controlling the portion, and information about them is gathered in a PDL part in time of system connection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
