PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp driving system having a simple circuit structure and low in production cost. SOLUTION: This lamp driving system for balancing currents of a lamp set including first and second lamps includes: first and second D.C. power sources; first and second D.C./A.C. conversion circuits for converting D.C. signals from the first and second D.C. power sources to A.C. signals; first and second transformers for driving the lamp set by converting the A.C. signals to sinusoidal signals having potential opposite to each other; first and second balancing elements connected between the first transformer and the lamp set and between the second transformer and the lamp set, respectively, for balancing currents carried to the lamp set; and feedback circuits connected between the first transformer and the first D.C./A.C. conversion circuit and between the second transformer and the second D.C./A.C. conversion circuit for feeding back the currents of the lamp set.
