<p>A method for upgrading a program of a telematics system is provided to reduce dissatisfaction of a customer and reduce after-sale service expenses by making the telematics terminal determine upgrade of the program with autonomous program version management when the telematics system is upgraded through the wired/wireless network. The version of each program storing area is checked when an operation of the telematics terminal is started(S10). It is checked whether the version to be performed is present by checking the program version(S40). The program update is started in case that the update has to be performed. The program updated is determined according to a comparison result by loading/operating the version stored in each program storing area and an upper version program.</p> |
