PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a forme plate capable of effectively removing impurities existing on a surface of the forme plate or an elimination object image from a surface of an elimination object plate by using atmospheric plasma. SOLUTION: This invention concerns manufacture of the forme plate, especially the manufacture of the forme plate in a printer. The forme plate having a surface capable of being rewritten is used. In order to write a permanent and erasable image on the surface of the forme plate, preferably at least once cancellation of the surface and the writing of the image on the surface are carried out.
