<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly set up an audio system regardless of ambient noises. <P>SOLUTION: In S51, output of test sound from all speakers is interrupted to detect an average level of the output of a microphone 13. In S52, the test sound from each speaker is sequentially outputted at a sound volume V to detect the average level of the output of the microphone 13 during a test sound output for each speaker. In S53, based on the detection in the S51 and S52, S/N ratio of each speaker is calculated. In S54, a minimum value is selected from among S/N ratios of speakers to determine whether to satisfy minimum value ≥ reference value or not. If the determination result is negative, the process proceeds to S55, and if it is positive, the process proceeds to S56. In S55, the sound volume V of test sound is increased only by specified amount ΔV and then returns to S52.
