An umbrella is provided to reduce a volume of the umbrella to the maximum extent by winding umbrella ribs and fabric around a post and then inserting them into a handle. The umbrella includes a cap(1) and a handle(10) with an opened end coupled to the cap. A bulb case is installed in an upper end of the cap for receiving a compact flashlight housing. Leaf spring-type umbrella ribs(2) are fixed to a lower wall of the cap by a rivet. A pulling device(9) is installed to a screw so that the umbrella ribs and an umbrella fabric(4) are rotated by the pulling device. The umbrella ribs and the umbrella fabric are wound around a polygonal post(5), and are accommodated in the handle. |
