An analog alarm generation device and a method thereof are provided to conduct a supplementary function of an alarm function applied to a mobile communication terminal so that various analog alarms in a loud sound are generated by using an analog bell striking function. A mobile communication terminal(100) controls alarm path selection and alarm signal generation to transmit an alarm signal to a device interlocked through a set digital or analog alarm path. A charging cradle(200) generates the alarm signal transmitted from the terminal(100) as an analog alarm. The terminal(100) comprises as follows. A controller(120) recognizes a selected alarm mode, and controls the alarm path selection and the alarm signal generation. An alarm path switch unit(130) sets a digital alarm or analog alarm path, and transmits the alarm signal to the set path. An alarm signal transmitter(170) transmits the alarm signal to the interlocked device.
