FIELD: power engineering; stationary and mobile power installations using air and hydrogen fired fuel cell generators. ^ SUBSTANCE: novelty is that specific material commonly used to absorb CO2 from air is replaced by waste solution produced in the course of operation of this power installation. Gas absorption (that is volumetric absorption in alkali solution common for industrial application) and not adsorption (that is surface binding of CO2) is used for the purpose. Desired degree of gas cleaning can be attained in this case. Proposed design solution makes it possible to develop air-hydrogen power installation using alkali fuel cells and dispensing with specific materials for cleaning air and hydrogen. ^ EFFECT: enhanced service life, reduced size and mass, facilitated maintenance of power installation. ^ 1 cl, 2 dwg
