A multi-functional safety signboard is provided to minimize power consumption and lengthen a lifetime of a battery by identifying daytime and nighttime. A main body(100) includes a battery(110), an operational mode setting switch(140) for selecting one of an auxiliary brake lamp, a safety signboard unit(200), an illuminating lamp, and an off function, an optical sensing unit(150) for sensing an optical signal, a charger(120) for charging the battery and providing DC power, and a control unit(130) for outputting an LED driving signal and a control signal. The safety signboard includes a first LED signboard having a plurality of LEDs, a second LED signboard having a plurality of LEDs, and a third LED signboard having a plurality of LEDs.
