<p>A touch pad equipped with a structure for detecting tactile sensation and a touch sensor using the same are provided to enable a user to feel touch or the tactile sensation by using multiple projections containing a conductor, multiple metal handles inserted into a plastic structure, and embossment/intaglio which is formed by engraving grooves. The touch pad includes a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(130), multiple conductors(110), and a non-conductive plate(100) having the projections(120) respectively containing the conductor by being placed to one side of the PCB. A touch signal generator includes multiple digital contact controller for detecting delay caused from an impedance change formed between the conductor in the projection and the PCB, and outputting a digital signal by responding to a detection result. The digital contact controller includes a delay varying part generating a reference signal having the fixed delay and a sensing signal having the delay varied by an impedance value applied from the outside, and a delay calculating/data generating part calculating the delay between the reference signal and the sensing signal, and generating digital data having the value corresponding to the calculated delay.</p> |
