An apparatus and a method for automatically supplying channel information are provided to eliminate the troublesomeness of inputting the channel information by automatically supplying channel information corresponding to a car driver. A controller(100) sets channel information in a channel information mode, wherein the channel information includes setting values, which are set correspondingly to a predetermined setting type. The controller sets the channel information in a car audio/video system when a call signal for the channel information mode is detected. A memory(110) is configured to store the channel information mode containing the channel information.
