摘要

FIELD: electrical engineering; power circuit switching devices. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed switch has arc-control chamber with chamber-mounted axial movable and fixed ring-contact electrodes and magnetic system incorporating permanent magnet disposed along chamber axis on fixed electrode end and used to produce radial field across axis. Central part of chamber disposed inside fixed contact is electrically insulated. ^ EFFECT: improved arc-breaking conditions affording increase in switching current and reduction in arc breaking time. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg
