A parking brake system using a differential gear is provided to easily operate the parking brake and improve use of space through the convenient electronic button operation by placing the electronic parking brake. A parking brake system(100) using a differential gear is composed of a driving motor(130); a differential gear box(110) rotated by the driving motor and provided with at least one differential pinion gears(113a); two differential side gears(150a,150b) rotatably tooth-geared with the differential pinion gears; two nut parts(152a,152b) formed with threads on the inner peripheral surface; two lead screws(124a,124b); and two parking cables(122a,122b) fixed at each end of two lead screws. The parking cable is pulled up, and the parking brake is operated according to the rotation of the differential side gear. A spur gear(132) is formed at one end of the shaft of the driving motor, and a ring gear(111) is tooth-geared with the first spur gear and fixed at one side of the differential gear box. |
