摘要 An electro-optical arrangement structure is provided to stably maintain the coloration state of an electro-optical device in a first display state or a second display state, by using a driver stage for supplying optimally driving signals to electrodes of the electro-optical device. An electro-optical device is driven in a first display state or a second display state. The electro-optical device has first and second electrodes to which a voltage having a predetermined safe operating voltage level(Vsafe) is applied. A driver stage supplies first and second electrode driving signals for driving the first and second electrodes respectively. The driver stage applies a first voltage as the first electrode driving signal and a second voltage as the second electrode driving signal, thereby driving the electro-optical device in the first display state. The driver stage applies a third voltage as the first electrode driving signal and a fourth voltage as the second electrode driving signal, thereby driving the electro-optical device in the second display state. Herein, the second voltage is higher than the first voltage, and the third voltage is higher than the fourth voltage. An absolute value between the first voltage and the second voltage is larger than or equal to the safe operating voltage level. An absolute value between the third voltage and the fourth voltage is larger than or equal to the safe operating voltage level.
