An imaging apparatus and a positioning apparatus of a rotary body are provided to save cost by accurately positioning a phase carrier for a body of the imaging apparatus by simple positioning composition and improving operability. Bearings(17) mounted in supporting shafts which support a photosensitive body drum are held in two surfaces of a holding hole(77) formed in a positioning holding member positioned and mounted in a body of an imaging apparatus by its self-weight. A wedge-shape part(53) is formed between the respective bearings(17) and a guide surface(50). Press members(44A) supported by a U-shape spring(71) are pressurized to perform the positioning of the respective supporting shafts.
