An input data filtering method of a PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) communication module and a device thereof are provided to comprise a timer for a filter except a timer for a CPU(Central Processing Unit), in the PLC communication module, and to enable a remote PLC communication module to set a sampling cycle of the timer for the filter, thus filter parameters can be adjusted in a remote place while a burden of the CPU is reduced. A transceiver(51) is configured for communication with a remote PLC communication module. A timer(52) for a filter provides a sampling cycle by being driven according to filter parameters received from the remote PLC communication module through the transceiver(51). An input unit(53) inputs input data from a device applied with a PLC system. An operation processor(50) reads the input data at every sampling cycle, and compares the read data with reference data. A data storage(54) stores the input data, if the input data is the same as the reference data.
