Provided is a storing structure for an electronic information storage medium, by which important information in the electronic information medium, such as a noncontact IC card, can be prevented from leaking and is safely stored. The electronic information storage medium (13) can transmit and receive information to and from an electronic information processor in a noncontact state by means of electromagnetic waves. The storing structure is provided with a storing section (15) which can store the electronic information storage medium in a status where the medium is electromagnetically shielded from the external.
