A plasma display apparatus is provided to increase a ground effect of a circuit part by positioning two conductive thin plates on a front surface of a chassis base and electrically connecting the thin plates with the circuit part. A plasma display apparatus includes a panel(103) displaying an image, a plastic chassis base(109) supporting the panel at a rear portion of the panel, and a circuit part(110) fixed to a rear portion of the chassis for driving the panel. A first conductive thin plate(142) is positioned on a front surface of the chassis base, and a second conductive thin plate(144) is attached to the rear portion of the panel. The thin plates are connected to each other by a conductive material. One end of a conductive boss fixed to the chassis base is electrically connected to the first thin plate, and the other end is electrically connected to the circuit part.
