A crosshead screws with a narrowed slot angle are provided to widen the contact area between slot on screw heads and a driver bit by narrowing tapered angle of the slots. A tapered angle of the slot on the head of the crosshead screw is within 1~15‹, and an angle between the front end and a horizontal surface is within 20~25‹. The tapered angle of the slot is narrowed in order to increase contact area, to prevent breakage of molds used in manufacturing the screws and slip of a driver bit from the slot.
