A device and a method for offering hacking prevention information, and a terminal and the method having a hacking prevention function using the same are provided to enable the terminal to effectively detect various kinds of hacking programs by receiving the hacking prevention information and detecting the hacking programs with a pattern matching mode. A transceiver(11) transceives various kinds of signals with external terminals. A file storing part(12) stores a log for each hacking program and the hacking prevention program. A log recorder(13) updates the hacking prevention program of the file storing part by receiving the log for the hacking program through the transceiver and analyzing the received log. A controller(14) searches the hacking prevention information from the file storing part and transmits the searched hacking prevention information by receiving a hacking prevention information update request signal from the terminal. The log recorder updates the hacking prevention information by analyzing user information, detection time, a name, internal information, and classification information of the received hacking program.
