A press system for pressure injection casting of V-blocks for internal combustion engines has a support plate (20) onto which are braced mould positioning rams as well as the support rams angled in line with the V-block sections. The support plate also accommodates the reaction forces from the ejector rams, which are located in recesses in the plate.
