An alignment layer forming device for an LCD and a method for forming the same are provided to minimize an alignment layer thickness deviation in a rubbing process by storing an alignment liquid at low temperature, and reduce process time by rising a low temperature of the alignment liquid to a normal temperature, thereby improving the reliability and the yield. A low-temperature storing unit(144) stores an alignment liquid at low temperature. A temperature control unit(142) receives the alignment liquid from the low-temperature storing unit for rising a temperature of the alignment liquid to a normal temperature. A dispenser discharges the normal temperature alignment liquid supplied from the temperature control unit to a roller part. The low-temperature storing unit and the temperature control unit are connected by an alignment liquid moving pipe(132), and the temperature control unit and the dispenser are connected by another alignment liquid moving pipe. |
