A CO2 gas measuring apparatus with a length variable sample cell is provided to increase the luminous intensity of the infrared ray lamp through the reflector and secure the accurate measurement by changing the length of the sample cell and placing the temperature detecting apparatus. A CO2 gas measuring apparatus with a length variable sample cell is composed of a first body(110) containing an inlet(130) where the sample gas is flowed, an inner hollow part(102) communicated with the inlet, an infrared ray lamp(112) irradiating the infrared ray into the hollow part, a reflector(114) formed at the rear of the infrared ray lamp to increase the luminous intensity, and a screw part(118) formed at the outer peripheral surface; and a second body(120) containing a screw part(119) formed at the inner peripheral surface, the inner hollow part communicated with an outlet(140), and a light detector(150) formed to detect the infrared ray irradiated from the infrared ray lamp. A temperature detecting part(116) is formed at the hollow part.
