Celestial globe comprises a twelve-cornered horizontal ring (2) placed on a three-leg base (1) with a holder (4) for receiving a meridian ring (5). The holder and the ring are arranged in the north-south direction and time indicator (8) is displaced in the ring at right angles. An ecliptic ring (16) is inclined by 23.5 degrees within the globe and a steel profile (18) is locked on the inner side. Preferred Features: A moon mechanism (25) consisting of a housing part (25.1), a cylinder (25.2) and a pin (25.3) is arranged on a half-ring (12). A brass ring insert (3) is embedded in the horizontal ring.
