Use of tyrosine kinase inhibitors for the treatment of inflammatory processes

The use of selected quinazolines for the treatment of diseases of the airways or lungs as well as other inflammatory diseases. Exemplary of the selected quinazolines are: (1) 4-[(3-chloro-4-fluoro-phenyl)amino]-6-[1-(tert.-butyloxycarbonyl)-piperidin-4-yloxy]-7-methoxy-quinazoline, (2) 4-[(3-chloro-4-fluoro-phenyl)amino]-6-(trans-4-amino-cyclohexan-1-yloxy)-7-methoxy-quinazoline, and (3) 4-[(3-chloro-4-fluoro-phenyl)amino]-6-(trans-4-methanesulphonylamino-cyclohexan-1-yloxy)-7-methoxy-quinazoline.
