A shock absorbing buckle is provided to absorb abrupt force given to a strap and thereby to protect a buckle and increase user's comfort. The shock absorbing buckle includes one or more body portions, one or more strap mounting structures and one or more shock absorbing flexible portions. The strap mounting structure is connected to the body portion. The shock absorbing flexible portions are connected to the strap mounting structure. The strap mounting structure comprises one or more horizontal bars. The shock absorbing flexible portion includes one or more flexible pins(25,35). The flexible pins(25,35) are mounted on the horizontal bar to extend in a longitudinal direction along the horizontal bar. |
