A disposable diaper enabling the large opening of a pocket for accumulating human waste formed by stacking panels on each other in the crotch covering area of the disposable diaper. A second panel part (22) is stacked on a first panel part (21) in the crotch covering zone (8) of the disposable diaper (1) to form the pocket (56) for accumulating human waste. The inside edge parts(36) of the elastically extensible/retractable leak preventing cuffs (33) formed on both sides of the crotch covering zone (8) are joined to near the rear end part (49) thereof positioned in the crotch covering zone (8) of the second panel part (22) in an extended state. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
