A flat type of fluorescent lamp is provided to minimize the area of main electrode, thereby improving the brightness at a corner region of the fluorescent lamp, by forming a plurality of stripe-shaped auxiliary electrodes between main electrodes formed at both ends of the fluorescent lamp. A first flat plate(100a) and a second flat plate are disposed to face each other. A first main electrode(110) is formed at first ends of the first and second flat plates. A second main electrode(120) is formed at second ends of the first and second flat plates. First and second auxiliary electrodes(110',120') are independently formed between the first and second main electrodes. At least one resistor(130) connects the first main electrode and the first auxiliary electrode and the second main electrode and the second auxiliary electrode. A distance between the first and second auxiliary electrodes is shorter than a distance between the first and second main electrodes. |
