<p>A vertical working line for a plate material capable of scribing and parting the plate material such as large- sized and thinned plate glasses without lowering the quality thereof, comprising a plurality of modulated working devices. Each of these working devices comprises a frame (49), a belt conveyor (2) disposed on the frame (49) and carrying the plate glass (G) in a vertically stood state while supporting the bottom of the plate glass, and fluid guides (3) disposed on the frame (49) and supporting the plate glass (G) in a stood and non-contact state by acting a fluid pressure on the surfaces of the plate glass (G). The working device is formed of the combination of two or more devices selected from a scribing device, a parting device, a chamfering device, a detergent washing device, a water washing device, a high-pressure water spraying device, and a plate material converting device.</p> |
