<p>A solar cell formed on a cube-textured metal substrate is provided to obtain similar efficiency to that of a solar cell in using a single crystalline silicon substrate by decreasing the number of a plurality of trap centers existing in an amorphous silicon solar cell. A cube-textured metal substrate(210) is obtained by a heat treatment after a cold-rolling process is performed on a metal substrate of an FCC(face centered cubic) structure. A non-conductive ceramic layer(220) is crystal-grown on the metal substrate. A first-type semiconductor layer(230) and a second-type semiconductor layer(240) are formed on the ceramic layer. A transparent electrode(250,260) is formed on the first-type and the second-type semiconductor layers. The semiconductor layer is at least one selected from crystal-grown Si, SiGe alloy and Ge.</p> |
