<p>The invention relates to a carbon black composition and to polymeric compositions comprising the same, used as semiconductive compositions or masterbatch compositions. According to the invention, the carbon black composition comprises carbon black and 0.1...50% by weight of at least one binder containing polyhydric alcohol. The claimed polymer composition comprises a polymeric component, carbon black and at least one binder. The carbon black composition comprises ethoxylated esters, polyethers, ethoxylated alcohols or non-ethoxylated esters to be embedded into the fluffy carbon black composition in a pelletizing process to obtain free flowing, low dust, attrition resistant carbon black pellets which impart the polymer systems enhanced mechanical and rheological properties.</p> |
