#CMT# #/CMT# The exchanger has a collector (40) including inlet and outlet orifices (42, 44) and a fixation orifice (46). A reservoir (10) has a fixation part comprising inlet and outlet manifolds (12, 14), a fixation rod (16), and a support side (180) on which glue is deposited. The manifolds and the fixation rod are respectively introduced in the corresponding orifices of the collector. The shape of the support side is conjugated to that of the wall of the collector. The support side is glued against the wall of the collector. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a heat exchanger fabricating method. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for a motor vehicle air-conditioning installation. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The shape of the support side of the fixation part is conjugated to that of the wall of the collector, thus guaranteeing the efficiency and sealing of the connection between the collector and the reservoir. The heat exchanger avoids brazing of the reservoir on the collector and so a filter cartridge and/or a desiccant cartridge can be placed inside the reservoir, prior to gluing, to ensure that the exchanger can be adapted to the utilization of dismountable and non-dismountable type reservoirs. The absence of reservoir brazing permits utilizing any type of material for the filter and desiccant cartridges. The assembly of the reservoir provides a reservoir with a simple structure without necessitating the machining of a groove or O-ring for sealing. The assembling of the reservoir with the collector does not necessitate a brazing furnace, and hence the reservoir has a reduced thickness. The reservoir does not require a specific material for brazing.
