A MASTER GEAR (7) INCLUDES A SHAFT (7a) MADE OF AN ALUMINIUM ALLOY, A GEAR PORTION (7b), AND AN ANNULAR MEMBER (7c) MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL ALLOY. THE SHAFT (7a) IS SCREWED ONTO A HANDLE SHAFT, A GEAR PORTION (7b) THAT IS INTEGRALLY FORMED ON THE OUTER PERIPHERY OF THE SHAFT (7a). THE SHAFT IS SUPPORTED BY THE REEL UNIT (2) AT ROTATIONAL SUPPORT PORTIONS (7a1) VIA BEARINGS (15a,15b) AND HAS FEMALE THREADED PORTIONS (7d,7e) ON ITS ENDS SUCH THAT THE HANDLE (1) IS SCREWED TO ONE OF THE FEMALE THREADED PORTIONS (7d,7e). THE GEAR PORTIONS (7b) IS ARRANGED ON AN OUTER PERIPHERY OF THE SHAFT PORTION (7A) BETWEEN THE ROTATIONAL SUPPORT PORTIONS (7a1), AND MESHES WITH A PINION GEAR (9). THE ANNULAR PORTION (7c) IS MOUNTED TO THE OUTER PERIPHERY OF THE SHAFT (7a) SUCH THAT AT LEAST PART OF THE ANNULAR MEMBER (7c) US DISPOSED NOT BETWEEN THE ROTATIONAL SUPPORT PORTIONS (7a1). WITH THIS STRUCTURE, IT IS EASY TO REMOVE BEARINGS (15a,15b) FROM A MASTER GEAR (7) OF A SPINNING REEL.(FIG.2) |
