A transferring unit transfers data and control signals between controllers through computer network. The supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system is permitted to be self-configured with respect to device in industrial equipment network and changes in configuration of the industrial equipment and associated devices. An independent claim is also included for method for permitting supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system to automatically perform interconnection and interaction with industrial equipment.
