The invention relates to a radio communication method, whereby first messages are transmitted from a user station (UE) to a network radio station (NODE B), using a first code (C_HS-DPCCH) and second messages are transmitted using a second code (C_DEDICATED). The use of the first code(C_HS-DPCCH) by the user station (UE) is temporarily interrupted and the use of the second code (C_DEDICATED) is carried out during the interruption. According to the invention, the use of the first code (C_HS-DPCCH) by the user station (UE) is restarted depending on a transmission power, available to the user station (UE) for the use of the first code (C_HS--DPCCH). The invention further relates to a user station (UE) and a network device (NODE B) for carrying out said method.
