A heating cooker is provided to smoothly operate an operation unit disposed on a door during or after cooking process using a heater. A heating cooker comprises a cabinet(1) having a heating chamber and an opening for entrance/exit of an object into/from the heating chamber; a heater unit arranged in the heating chamber; a door(4) mounted on the cabinet so as to open/close the opening of the cabinet; an operation panel(11) having an operation unit arranged on a front surface of the door so as to control operation of the heater unit and a display unit(12) for displaying operating status of the heater unit. The operating unit is arranged beneath the display unit.
