<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission system capable of surely receiving streaming data and selectively, efficiently and effectively utilizing a limited communication path. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving streaming-distributed video data, the video data are received by performing error correction coding processing and error correction decoding processing to the video data.
