PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine with a simple form by reducing the number of wining lines capable of alleviating the burden on a player who cannot make specific targeting stop operation of a stop button. SOLUTION: Symbol display areas related to a win among a total of nine symbol display areas constituted of three areas in a left reel, three areas in a center reel and one intermediate area in a right reel, and a winning line can be formed in three horizontal winning lines. Thus, the number of the winning lines are reduced as compared with a conventional machine, and its configuration is simplified. Further, any symbol stopped in the intermediate area of the right reel is made effective for a winning symbol combination, and two symbols in a horizontal line matching with each other in any of the upper, intermediate or lower areas of the left reel and the right reel constitutes a win.
