<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmitting mechanism for a rotating body which is manufactured at low cost and easily rotates various rotating bodies such as a photoreceptor drum at uniform velocity. <P>SOLUTION: A receiving plate part 63 is provided in a flange 60 rotating integrally with the photoreceptor drum and a boss 83 is provided in a drum gear to which driving force is transmitted from a main body side in the driving force transmitting mechanism. Only perpendicular force Fb to an end surface 63a of the receiving plate part 63 is applied from the boss 83 even when a rotational center of the boss 83 (that is rotational center of the drum gear) and a rotational center of the receiving plate part 63 (that is the rotational center of the flange 60) are eccentric. Since the end surface 63a composes a part of a plane including a rotational shaft of the flange 60, the force Fb is not provided with a component in a radius direction of the flange 60. Therefore, no force is applied to the flange 60 in the radius direction and since force is only applied in the direction of a circumference, the photoreceptor drum can be rotated at uniform velocity extremely easily. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
