PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variation in gap between solid bodies of a display device. SOLUTION: The display device has two substrates which are arranged opposite each other across a liquid crystal material, an annular sealant which is arranged on the peripheries of the substrates, and a first region including an image display region and a second region which is separated by a partitioning member from the first region.
