PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reinforcing a cement structure not only achieving excellent strength property but also preventing the debris of the cement structure from scattering by an excess compression load, and the cement structure reinforced by its method. SOLUTION: The method for reinforcing the cement structure comprises covering the cement structure with a reinforcing sheet including at least one string sheet layer made of trimmed strings such that most outer string sheet layer after being reinforced is made of an organic fiber, and the cement structure comprises being reinforced by its method.
