PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a care support system and apparatus capable of simply and surely confirming the safety of elderly people at home or the like who need no full-time care but require care on emergency and quickly and surely dispatching care personnel on emergency. SOLUTION: A terminal installed in a living room of a person receiving nursing care transmits operation information of a safety confirmation button connected to the terminal to a center server apparatus in a care support center via a communication channel in a form of mail. The center server apparatus analyzes the received mail denoting operation contents of the confirmation button, discriminates the necessity of a requested support, transmits mail of a care support request to a mobile terminal of a caretaker registered in advance to request the caretaker to take a care support when discriminating the need of support. The caretaker capable of taking care support transmits accedence mail to the center server apparatus, and the center server apparatus receiving the accedence mail transmits mail denoting that the caretaker accedes to the care support request to other mobile terminals.
